CALIFORNIA LILAC

It has rain almost all day, except for a brief
time in the morning. Angus & I snuck out for a glorious walk, after being housebound for days. It was so wonderful to get outside.

On the way home, just as we turned the corner, I saw this tiny cluster of
flowers on this native lilac. The flowers
do not have a scent, but are a welcome sight, on this sodden Winter day.

As we crossed the street, the rain started & has not let up all day. In an hour, it should
stop. Tomorrow the sun may shine.
