Looks Cold...Sure was Hot

I took this shot shortly before we left to travel back to Christchurch early in the afternoon. It felt like an oven as soon as I went outside with around 33c.

If you look closely between the trees you can just see part of the lawn which is brown. My son did mow the lawn earlier in the morning when it was cooler. There were weeds growing well in the lawn so it was good  to get them cut off before they seeded. 

It was a slow trip back to Christchurch as the roads were busy. I noticed how cold it felt when I got out of car.

Missing Akaroa already.
