Old tiles

We played Mahjong at Ann’s this afternoon and she has a lovely old set of tiles. They are small tiles, ivory and bamboo. They are beautifully carved with both Chinese and English numerals. One of our players got very confused with the tiles, but for the rest of us they made sense.
Before Mahjong I went to an exercise group, hoping to get more mobile. It was a lively class and I was able to do most of it seated, although I hope to progress as the weeks go by.
