The waiting area

What I’m waiting for is: 1.5 hours of root canal surgery.  I am lucky to be able to afford this, as it will cost much more than a week long holiday in Italy.  He’s a specialist who puts right botched (or ineffective) root canal surgery done by other dentists. I can only afford it because I inherited some money from my mum. I will hopefully be able to keep the molar, and lose the infection at the root. 
I think the waiting room is a real dogs breakfast of colour and design. 
Meanwhile in another part of Bristol, a queue of several hundred people wait in St Paul’s for many hours for the chance to sign up to be treated by an NHS dentist, something that has not been possible for more than a year. Article here
