Rain, Rain Go Away!

Continuing rain

today. Depressing!

Mount Peter and Mount Paul appear soggy and grey from my deck today. We've had more than our share of rain this month. We are usually "semi desert" with less than 14 inches of rain/year. Not this year. The river is up. Puddles are everywhere. We call this "Vancouver weather". My arthritis complains and my sinuses stuff up. Weeds have flourished like never before.
Our neighbours in Alberta are getting "weather" in abundance with flooding and damage along the Bow River Valley. The City of Calgary, with over a million people has been hard-hit. Poised for the Calgary Stampede in only 11 days, the city will need a herculean effort to clean and restore the needed venues.
