Maungatautari - Sanctuary Mountain

is a predator free, enclosed area for nature birds to roam free.
We happened to be there when the bird feeders were being replenished. A number of Kaka visited the sugar water fountain.   
The recent rain meant there were lots of fungi on the fallen logs
