Gone

I'm taking a digital storytelling class from Kim Stafford at Lewis and Clark College, and it's a terrific class. More on that later this week. On my way into my classroom, a big fir tree stood right here; when we came out at lunch, it, and three or four others were gone. Sometimes they have to come down. This young lady is somewhere between grief and counting its rings. Perhaps that's an act of mourning.
