Emergency blip

Simon Rosenberg wrote an interesting (political) article in Substack and included a video of Tracy Chapman at last night’s Grammy’s. That woman is so beautiful. Her songs are so compelling. In 1990 I heard one of her songs playing in a store in Moscow. Moscow. Last year I bonded with a driver over Tracy Chapman and his favorite was the same one she played last night:  Fast Car. 

I love Fridays. With fewer meetings and emails and pings I can concentrate on one thing and get it done. Yes, I know today was Monday. 

I received a donation this evening in a beautiful card with beautiful words and distance is terrible because it means you can’t hug people when they say such nice things. 

Ukrainian border guard Serhiy Kupin was injured in the leg. Other Ukrainian soldiers saw him via a drone. Using the drone they brought him tea and a note that said, "Drink, friend, and follow the drone." He was 100-200 meters away from Russian troops. He followed the drone for roughly 700 meters until Ukrainian troops could safely reach him, carrying him off the battlefield.

The Netherlands will provide six more F-16 fighter jets. This makes a total of 24.
