i'm thick.
there are some people that one simply can't get on with.
yes, the newbie neighbour that can't stand the Radish.
i'm thick because i thought my good manners would win out in the end.

today the Kindly Mister found a workman in our garden changing the boundary fence.  no discussion had been had.  our newbie neighbour shouted at the Kindly Mister and upset him quite a lot - as he was an innocent in this unseemly trespass - as was the workman.

surely the correct protocol if doing any work on boundaries is to keep your neighbour informed?  perhaps i am too old fashioned.  maybe such politeness is no longer relevant?
