Too hot

Another gloomy wet day, but at least the rain had stopped before we walked into Holmfirth in the evening for a music session at the Nook. Still blowing a gale though!

Not a cold evening, but at the pub the fire was lit and the small, crowded room far too hot. (Though no doubt a roaring fire will be much appreciated later in the week if the forecast cold snap happens!) A fun session with a wide variety of tunes, aided by jugs of foaming ale provided by the pub!

The creatures either side of the fire grate are interesting - birds with animal (dogs?) heads, maybe mythological Simargls (Semargls) or Aralez? No idea really!
