This vessel has not sailed by the porch window for many days this year – three in fact. The skipper is making the most of today’s slack wind. An unexpected very welcome comeback at dancing* this morning of Frances and Chris ; la doyenne and le doyen. I celebrated by going to Shearers and buying some more Seville oranges and some fire cement. Then along to a charity shop to make a donation for an HTML cable. Back at base I was under CMC’s tutelage as we decommissioned the wrecked poly tunnel and started preparing the site for a polycrub.
*I nearly reactivated my old bossa nova injury; I had to run it under a cold tap for twenty minutes.
