Mono Monday - Thick

Leo has very thick fur. He keeps I keep it in good condition with daily brushing, which he loves.

Last week, when I went to pick him up from the vet's after he'd caught a possibly-poisoned rat, the vet asked me to keep an eye on him for the next few days.

When I asked what symptoms I should be looking for, I was told there was a slight chance of some bruising caused by internal bleeding, particularly on his tummy. Through that thick fur??? 

Happy to report that Leo hasn't shown any ill after-effects, although he is still on medication as a precaution.
