Crocuses
It was grey and windy today, and it looks like we are in for colder weather at the end of the week with snow up north again. Well to be expected as it is winter.
I walked Xena and then afterwards I went to a spot where I know the crocuses grow on grass, and they were there, all out already - but because of the low light many were still furled up as you see here. Then on to do some grocery shopping before coming home again.
I finished my book The Bee Sting, I found it utterly brilliant. It is a long book at 656 pages and over 26 hours on audio book, but I do enjoy a long book that you can get stuck into. It has an unexplained ending and you have to work a bit to find out the ending (there are clues throughout the book), but I thought it was a very clever ending. A deserved short listed nominee for the Booker Prize.
I have a camera club meeting again tonight, we have another PDI competition (projected digital images). I find the projector lightens the images too much, despite being correctly set, and when I enter images with snow in them - as I have done tonight - it usually ends up looking a tad over exposed. I did purposefully reduce the exposure a little but it is a bit hit and miss as to know by how much.
