I Appear To Have Picked Up The Wrong Glass

With Tess laid low by a nasty cough and cold (can’t think who she caught that from!), it was just Chris and I for Park Run this morning. I was pleased to knock nearly 30 seconds off last week’s time and achieve my best one since last September.

I spent a lot of the rest of the day watching sport on TV and, after England’s narrow victory over Italy in the 6 Nations Rugby and Yeovil’s narrow 2-1 defeat away to last week’s FA Cup heroes Maidstone, I was in need of a large pre-dinner G&T.

Yeovil’s defeat was only their fourth this season: if you’d told us fans we’d only have lost 4 games by February we wouldn’t have believed it after so many years of poor results!
