Khaled

Khaled Jarrar is a Ramallah-based artist and filmmaker whose work, unsurprisingly, concerns the situation in the Middle East. He's here at the festival with his compelling documentary Infiltrators, and I hosted a Q&A with him this evening. Such an interesting, intelligent man, open and friendly but passionate about his cause, determined to bear witness to and document the injustices and indignities that are part of daily life for most Palestinians. Meeting people like him is the best part of my job; it's a privilege.

No Q&As tomorrow evening, so I might even get to watch some films!
