Bye bye Facebook

I have been wanting to ditch Facebook for a while - they don’t make it easy - and I’ve finally done it. I had a second account for work purposes that HR told me to set up a few years ago before I retired - that proved even harder to delete as I’d forgotten my password and no longer have access to the work email address - it seems in that scenario the account cannot be deleted. Fortunately my phone number was on the account so I’ve deleted it that way. I can’t believe the faff, with the hoops we have to jump through for GDPR yet Facebook seem to be able to retain our details in perpetuity.

I feel better for ridding myself of it!
