Moondance

Whilst on my slug and snail hunt in the early hours of this morning. Well, whatever turns you on!! I was struck by the moon which appeared to be dancing in and out of the trees and clouds.

I have never seen it so big and bright and I realise that it is closer to us at the moment. We have no street lights here in this part of our village so we get amazing night skys with no light pollution.

I'll have to ask for a tripod next Christmas because trying to hold my breath and not shake when my teeth are chattering in the cold is not easy.

Today the wind hasn't been so sharp and we were blessed with sunshine.
