Tantallon

We go flying past Tantallon so often but never stop. Historic Scotland has an offer on for free entry on the first Sunday of the month so finally we went. I was last here 20 years ago with two blond toddlers and funnily enough not alot has changed, the castle still stands impressively on the cliff, pretty incredible when it’s origins lie 700 years ago. Life must have been bleak without home comforts but still what a spot, what a view.
Spent the rest of the day been chased by rain clouds so decided to go to the cinema for an early movie, Zone of Interest which was a thought provoking watch. Difficult to describe, all senses were provoked by the deliberate banality of the film with a backdrop of unseen horror.
