Two trees
Took advantage of daylight to check out two snapped trees along the river walk. We were walking past the one on the right of the photo the other night when the sections of trunk snapped and deposited it in the river. Thankfully, the river is wide at that point so we were out of harms way and there was no one else night-walking. In the daylight, the rotted wood is visible where it snapped, so the high winds finished the job. There were wrens hopping into the rotted sections today, so there must be good eating or nesting holes in there.
