Personal best!
Having a rare Sunday off due to works mess of the rota meant I could practice my race day breakfasts and put some good distance in the legs!
16 miles on the plan today, so I ran the long way around to the Retford half start line and recced the route!
It’s fairly undulating but as a managed a half marathon pb and my second ever sub 2, I feel it’s worth a roll of the dice and enter!
I won’t have cars, dodgy muddy paths, and as much wind to contend with, plus race day adrenaline and the cheering crowds helps! Maybe I’ll get another pb!
