One done….

One to do. Friend J decided that a couple of dead elm trees in his drive that have started to lean needed to come down. In his barn conversion he doesn’t have a wood burner so offered the timber to J and I. So both saws were cleaned and treated to new chains.

So today was helping him fell and cut them up. Kindly he loaded up his garden tractor and trailer and delivered two loads to us.

Now the hard work of further cutting and splitting but who doesn’t like free seasoned elm firewood.
