The Thin Blue Line

My lovely revetment walk will be closed from tomorrow for two months for emergency works to be carried out to the sewage pipe ( I think). Despite being cold and deserted, I felt I had to walk along it. I looked up the meaning of the ‘thin blue line’ and it means the maintaining of order (by the police) during unrest and between chaos and civilian life. You probably knew that, dear Blippers? I thought the blue paint was thus a good choice!
