A Christmas Rose.

The5th Sunday in Ordinary Time.
The Feast Day of Saint Andrew Corsini.
I found this beautiful Christmas Rose or Hellibore growing at the foot of an old Sycamore tree in the neighbourhood, along with some snowdrops. Our crocuses and snowdrops that we planted in the Autumn are showing colour but much of the Spring garden is still dormant.
It is still very cold today 8c but feels like 4c. I have been to buy our Sunday newspaper, the weekend I. Hunter threw up after eating his cat food too quickly and there was a lot of clean up. Such is life with two lively kittenish cats. I will watch online Mass soon and hope we have a dry afternoon so I can go for a longer walk. The wind is getting blustery again.
