I had my phone call with the GP today to get my sick note. She was a bit surprised I was back at work and told me to rest my voice and not make too many phone calls, then said “oh sorry I’ve just noticed what your job is… well try your best”.

Matt’s still off work so I’m still on nurse/chef duties. This is our current fave, vegan butternut squash ‘mac and cheese’.
