Living on the farm

With no tv gave the women plenty of time to handstich quilts for the family. This one  (the whole quilt is in the extra as is another one). All quilts were made by Don’s stepmother. This one was started in 1918, continued in 1932 and finished 1942.

We drove to Fallbrook today which is 70 miles north of San Diego. Weather was nice enough.
