Quinag
A glimpse of sun lightens the slopes of Quinag - an impressive mountain range of undulating series of peaks flanked by steep buttress cliffs. The oldest rocks in the world underlie the foreground moorland with a rock strewn landscape covered with vast areas of water. All around were the sounds of various moorland birds and the distant call of a buzzard while two black throated divers peacefully swam in a nearby loch.
