Oh so close…. a game of two halves.

Scotland came to the Principality stadium today looking for their first victory over Wales in 22 years. I must admit it did look likely as Wales are a very inexperienced (developing) side. The first half confirmed my worse fears. Scotland went in at half time 20 points ahead. Boys against men.
At the start of the second half Scotland scored another try and we feared a cricket score. But …… suddenly Wales came alive and were dominant scoring four tries bringing the score to 26-27 and it looked as though Scottish dreams would be shattered yet again. Scotland survived and got their victory much to the relief of the couple sat next to me who had spent the second half with their heads in their hands. Probably a fair result after an extremely exciting second half. I shook their hands and left only a little disappointed having witnessed a fantastic last 30 minutes.
