Toots in Solitude

All in the name of Love

Honestly, I never forced 'im or anything, me Lord, 'e did it of 'is own accord.
Yes, Donald came for a walk with me this morning, a long walk at that, using his advised walker. What a difference it made to the progress and I hardly worried at all that he'd trip and have yet another fall, and I didn't have to grip tight to his arm and walk with a stick to prevent myself being taken down to the ground with him. It also meant I could carry some shopping with my free arms. BIG steps. I was very moved that he did that for me but I could also see that secretly he was enjoying this freedom of speed himself. Cobbles seemed to be the only unpleasant part.
I know that pride would also make me want to walk unaided but at Donalds 80 years of age things and perspectives may have to change.
Bless him, bless him and bless him again.
