Derelict Saturday

Loads going on today. We attacked the roses, moving three from the back to the front of the house then we called in specialist Gardener pal Lewis for a lesson in pruning. We then pruned like mad. Dotty was trying to help and managed to get a short bit of very spiked rose stem stuck in the roof of her mouth ! Luckily H & D Herriot were on hand, H pinned her down and I took my life in my hands by delving into her mouth and pulling the thing out. Nasty business.

I went out on my bike this afternoon, first time since October. Only an hour but I made reasonable time. The shot is of ‘Abington Temple’ which was… a temple and conference facility. It’s recently been sold for £1.5m. It’ll be interesting to see what it becomes.

Currently watching the Rugby, Pops is in a pub in Cardiff watching it, I bet it is brilliant in there…
