Pivoine
It was at some point, around 2.30am that a change of tactics was required. The anti-chicken pox mousse style ointment was clearly not helping the #1son sleep and he was even trying to get Madame's hand to get some better scratching on itchy spots.
Eurgh, anyway the alternative ointment, which is a gel, had the effect of allowing us to hear his deep breathing within under 5 minutes, therefore allowing 3 hours of sleep.
Today was great, the best bit was when my neighbour informed me that in the US and in other countries they actually innoculate for chicken pots (as her son calls it).
This however, is a beautiful flower, the last of the peonies and one I have never seen flower before. I think blip should do a scratch and smell app, because this had the odour of a beautiful day, even if my tired legs and head told me otherwise.
Oh and I am to be signed up for swimming classes with Kwazii himself aka #1son, beginning Saturdays, in August, wait for it, at, drum roll, 7.30am.
