Witch hazel

Thankfully a construction free, quiet day.  It's been very mild for February.

In between dog walks been cooking. 
Food for the hound and spinach and ricotta cannelloni for the weekend.

My birthday present witch hazel is in bloom.  It is a delicate perfume.  There are signs of spring growth in the garden.  And it's daylight past 4 o' clock! 

Having a chilled evening tonight.
