A thing of beauty …

… well I think so! 
 I bought an automatic breadmaker machine last weekend and this is my first attempt. It turned out really well, crisp on the outside and a beautiful pillowy texture inside. It is just the basic white loaf recipe that comes with the machine, so nothing fancy, but I am delighted with the result and will hopefully progress to more exotic creations.
