trouble in paradise

What a fucking amazing day. Just a few wee hiccups along the way, but got through the lot.

Had to spend a bit of time at the computer in the morning. Pierre cleared up and then I started to prepare the food for the barbie. The ribs had been marinating since yesterday, so they were ready to go straight on the embers. We had trout and langoustines as well.

So delicious.

Went to the river after lunch and had a swim and then wandered up to the garden to water it. Nightmare with the water, but Pierre sorted it - thank god!

Mireille and Amandine (with her parents and wee baby girl, Nina) all appeared down at the garden in the middle of everything! Lovely to see Amandine and her little girl is gorgeous.

Early to bed after a big feed of cherries from Lucienne's tree :)
