Flaming Firebush (Hamelia Patens)

This is one of three flaming Firebush I have in my front yard. We had some nice rain yesterday and they have perked up. These are the dwarf variety, which is a joke, and they must be 10 ft. high. I have a regular variety that is about 6 ft. The dwarf variety are more brilliant red as they are exposed to full sun. They are in rich soil, and they love it!
