(Failed) Bus Challenge No 201

With Dad at daycare (trialling two days a week), took an early bus into Bath with the plan of visiting the Abbey to see the nativity scene, with today being Candlemas, traditionally the 40th day of and the conclusion of the Christmas–Epiphany season. However when I got into town I discovered that the Abbey didn’t open until 10am. While I waited in the mizzle for it to open, I spotted Santa in a shop window, reflecting the Abbey.

With only ten mins before my return bus, I was told at the Abbey’s entrance that yes, the nativity scene was still on display. However when I got to the altar it wasn’t there and was then told that the Abbey had decided to celebrate Candlemas last Sunday. I could’ve stayed on in town, but as the weather was so miserable I didn’t hang around and made a dash for the return bus home.
