Inchkeith Island and Calton Hill (Left)
It started off pretty bright in the morning, but the weather deteriorated throughout the day,. Sunny spell, then spells of light rain. A busy day catching up with some things I have missed due to not having a working device. No lunchtime walk as I had a medical appointment. Also lost some time as the bus crawled along due to road works both out and back.
After work went up the Braid Hills. The views were pretty murky, so munros or Ochil Hills. Even East Lothian looking pretty grim. View shows Inchkeith Island in the Firth of Forth. On the far left is Carlton Hill with the observatory, the Nelson Monument and the unfinished National Monument (a.k.a. "Edinburgh's Disgrace", "Scotland's Folly", "Edinburgh's Folly" or "The Pride and Poverty of Scotland"). In front are the buildings, new and old of Edinburgh University.
