A day of news

This young lady got the news today that she not only passed her part 1 Bar Exams but excelled in them. Which later meant the opportunity to treat her to a yummy lunch. But she also just has to keep working. There’s still a long way to go.

And also during the morning, an email went out to announce, at long last, some other news relating to us. Over 3 months ago, I resigned from my job. I called it long notice so that they had plenty of time to find a replacement. But for one reason or another, it’s taken this long before everyone has been informed. What a relief now that it’s out.

The other piece of news was that Elbows and I have decided to join the most recent church plant team, for a new church in the north of the borough. This is of course exciting, as well as a little bit terrifying. We will move house, into the area, once MightyMouse has finished school next year.

We made this decision in December so it’s a relief that the news about the whole team going is also out there. I am personally so grateful for many little cogs that have played big parts. There’s been some ups and downs this week and I’m so thankful for RJ at work.
