Swerve

Been burning that flue cleaner powder for a month so I thought I’d put the brush up the flue again cos it didn’t seem to be drawing as well.
After shoving 14m of rod up I pulled it all back down to find a brushless end - the rod had failed under the twisting load.
Bugger! Disaster!
I was envisaging clambering up on the roof to push it back down. Not a scenario I was contemplating with joy.
Then went outside and there it was, sitting smugly on the slabs.
Must’ve got caught in the cowl struts.
