Ice Castles in Cripple Creek, Colorado

A friend invited me to join her to see the Ice Castles display in a little town about an hour away. At first I thought it would be a day time trip, but she explained that getting there at sunset to see it in the light and then in the dark was best. Boy was she right!
After the sun went down, the lights within the ice formations were turned on. It was truly a magical sight!
