Yellow Bottlebrush. (Callistemon)

This is the first flower on this plant in my garden and there will be many more to come. The more common Bottlebrush plants have a red brush which I also have but I believe this one is not quite so common. You can guess why it inherits its name. Stunning when the brush is fully out. Thought I would capture it during its opening up.
I cheated on this one and used my TZ8 Panasonic camera. (Pocket sized)
I am pleased with the result.
