Huge thanks to everyone who left comments/stars/hearts on yesterday’s milestone blip. The abstract pattern was ice on the pond, hence my comment about minimal creativity on my part!

A fairly positive day. A good conversation with J’s consultant during ward round, and a rough idea about plans (possibly discharging back to the nursing home next week). J was quite tired, but giggling at his cousin and my attempts to give him a shave (with almost a fortnight’s growth and the dodgy old electrical shaver as his good one is at the home, it was pretty comical).

Then popped into town to catch up with an old university friend who was passing through. We found a brewery/Indian veggie street food place and had a great catch up. It was good to have a complete change of scenery and company.
