Geology

The weekly village walk today. The weather was unexpectedly cool and blustery, but comfortable for walking. If not ideal for photos. A relatively modest 7 km with 58 m of climbing, just under two hours (it was a leisurely stroll with lots of chat).

I was glad I'd cleaned and laid the fire before I went out, so I lit it when I got back. Dinner this evening was risotto made with some of the cooked guineafowl and dried wild mushrooms. There's still enough for at least one, possibly two meals, depending what I do with it, and not counting the stock I'll make with the carcase.
