Relaxation is undervalued
No guarantee of a crossing from Hoy today as we were advised we'd be on second standby. When we arrived at Lyness Ricky immediately promoted us to first standby. Then, within seconds of him using his walkie-talkie, we were the second vehicle on board. Lucky to get squeezed in during a peedie weather window as all other crossings are now cancelled. The first car in the queue going back to Hoy was CMC's sister going across to fulfill part of her NHS duties.
Back at HQ the Current Mrs Creel departed for a meeting with the Hoy Heritage Officer then her duties in the Cat Shop. I made a bake for tea and dealt with Bibs' fan mail.
Folk are saying that it's only when we get a change in the weather that we'll see any playwrights.
A large bag of civil oranges has arrived home.
