The Great Polish Map of Scotland in the grounds of Barony Castle Hotel.  An impressive relief map of the country (NO Northern Isles though). Definitely worth a look and a walk round the woods. Not terribly easy to photograph I must say! 

We're heading for Peebles. It's our daughter's Christmas present from us  -  two nights away. Peebles used to be a regular trip for me when my mum was alive but I've not been there for years so this is a treat for me too.
