Vemödalen.....

 ......'the fear that originality is no longer possible.'

One of my images got a 2 page spread today in the 'Artists Down Under' digital artistry magazine (extra)

I purchased a book a while back called 'The Dictionary of Obscure Sorrows'
 by John Koenig.
I was attracted to it by the title and actually bought it for someone else until I got it home and had a much better look...now it sits on my desk and I look through it and read these strange words that within themselves have meanings of things that are felt but often one cannot explain.

I don't know if I explained that very well so I will leave an example at the end of this post.

Anyway sometimes I will read a word and its meaning that will inform an image that I am working on.....sometimes it brings a deeper meaning and maybe a turn in which I will need to change the  lighting or perhaps the content to suit the journey that the word has taken me on.......gosh! its so hard to explain and I feel like I am not doing a very good job at it.
