An Oasis of Calm
Main news: Mr PP is home. Thanks to our son who picked him up from the hospital and drove us both home, with a couple of stops for the patient to stretch his legs and avoid stiffening up en route. Son R didn't want to stop over, so did a quick turnaround and was back home by 7.30 this evening. Now we've spent the evening unpacking and sorting medicines and so forth ready for bed.
My blip represents an oasis of calm for me this morning. I enjoyed a soak in the Pugglesworths' new bathroom. They've had a lot of work done on the house, adding a floor. It enables them to separate their respective office space from sleeping space and achieve total darkness at night, since when their sleep has greatly improved.
I don't think I'd be cut out to live in London, even the north London suburbs, but they've made their home very comfortable, and having a garden allowed the dear little pug to join them seven years ago to make their lives complete.
