Yum!

Been out in the Finnish countryside enjoying the midnight sun celebrations, it was absolutely beautiful but unfortunately I forgot my camera! Oh well, maybe next year. Still, I go home in a few days and am looking forward to seeing everyone and seeing my London again. I think the first thing I'll do is go to the Camden market and get one of these amazing hot chocolates and a liquid nitrogen ice cream!

Anyway an interesting weekend celebrating Juhanus (midsummer festival). Plenty of barbequed food, sauna twice a day and swimming and rowing in the river just outside of Pudasjarvi. I didn't cope so well on the Finnish language front (still having trouble with the Lappish dialect!). The car ran out of petrol on the way home so we had to wait an hour and decided to have a barbeque lunch at the side of the road! A lovely weekend :)
