Train Challenge No 6

Finding that the train to Gloucester and then the train to Weston-super-Mare were both cancelled this morning, headed instead to Newport via Bristol with my Bus Challenge Friend. We only had two and a half hours there, and the weather wasn’t the best, a cold wind and drizzle, so we spent time in the town’s museum which had an amazing collection of Roman artefacts from nearby Caerwent, before heading to Newport’s Victorian Indoor Market, the largest in Europe, for a quick bite for lunch and to buy Welsh Cakes.

In extras, 2000yr old enamelled Roman brooches, and my lunch! Took dozens more pics but they’ll have to wait until another day when I have more time and umph.
