Still Useful

I pass this fallen tree frequently, and take photos of it, but never manage to capture it.  I tried again today but didn't expect great results.  So I was pleased to find a pigeon perching on it, that I hadn't noticed at the time. 
A windy day today, strong enough to blow one about, but at least I was out and back before the rain and stronger winds swept through.
