What weather

We got up to strong wind hitting the side of the cottage, the tide was out but the waves were high. Got a dry walk before breakfast and rain then started. We decided to drive to the Torrisdale estate for a walk and lunch at the distillery cafe. We got wet, but the cafe had the log burner on and we soon dried.
The distillery is small and produces gin. I had a bottle the last time we visited a couple years ago, very nice, and today purchased a new one that has been stored in a bourbon cask for 19 months.
The rain was much heavier after we got back so hubby put the logs on to burn and we settled in for a couple of hours reading.
Wind and rain gone by late afternoon so off for a short walk before cooking.
